Gary
Cheng,
General Partner |
Mr. Cheng
founded Destiny Technology Corporation, a Silicon Valley graphic and
imaging software company in 1986. He grew this company to more than 150
employees and then sold the company in 1992. Prior to founding Destiny,
Mr.Cheng was the Director of the Advance Development Center at ITT.
In addition to serving on the board of directors for many startup
companies in Silicon Valley, he served on the Board of Ambit
Microsystems (a public company in Taiwan), ITRI USA, and Monte Jade
Science & Technology Association.
Mr. Cheng graduated from Chiao
Tung University in Taiwan with a BS in Electrical Engineering.

Dr.
Phil Mak,
General Partner |
Dr. Mak
was a founder & CEO of Symphony Laboratories, a fabless IC product
company specializing in PC chipset and peripheral chips. He was also a
co-founder of Knights Technology, a Silicon Valley software company
with leading technology in IC verification and yield analysis.
Before founding Symphony Laboratories and Knights Technology, Dr. Mak
was head of the Corporate CAD group at Sun Microsystems where he was
instrumental in building Sun's world-class design automation
environment from scratch. Prior to joining Sun, Dr. Mak was a Z80000
CPU designer at Zilog.
Dr. Mak focuses on network management, Web-based enterprise solutions,
wireless applications and EDA. He is currently on the Board of
Directors for Circuit
Semantics and Averant.
Dr. Mak received his doctorate degree in Computer Science from the
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Lung,

Mr. Lung
co-founded Destiny Technology Corporation, a digital document imaging
company, in Silicon Valley in 1986. From 1986 to 1995, he grew Destiny,
together with Gary Cheng, to more than 200 employees. From 1995 to
1998, Mr. Lung became president and lead Destiny to go public in
Taiwan.
At VenGlobal, Mr. Lung focuses on optical communications, wireless
communications, and productivity enhancement software. He is currently
on the Board of Directors for CoAdna and LuxNet.
Mr. Lung received both his B.S. and Masters degree in Electrical
Engineering from Cheng-Kung University in Taiwan.
